Miguel del Castillo gained his M.S. in Telecommunication Engineering and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Málaga, Spain, in 1997 and 2008, respectively. Since 1997, he is Lecturer in the Communications Engineering Department, University of Málaga, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His current research interests include wireless optical communications and free-space optical communications.
